Oliver Sanders is an award winning freelance audio producer, sound designer, editor, composer, sound artist and recordist specialising in non-fiction narrative storytelling and documentary practice.

Beginning his career as the sound recordist for the feature length documentary A Story Of Bones, he is committed to producing audio that takes an empathetic approach to each subject, striving to produce projects that are intimate, personal, experiential and photographic.

His radio series include the Audio Production Award 2023 Winner; Tape Letters and the Audio Content Funded Iron To Iron. Leading the audio production, editing and sound design on both. His most recent project is We Are Not Alone, a production for Social Broadcasts and BBC Radio 4.

His work in podcasts has seen him specialise in producing cinematic and sound rich narrative series with original musical scores, including the ARIA 2023 Award Winner The Second Elizabethan Age for Tortoise Media, the Lovie Award 2023 Winner Retold for Curio, and Now Hear This! for Free Turn.

As a sound archivist he has worked with The Museum Of Saint Helena and The British Library Sound Archive.
